I'm in South Africa, during the unrest of the looting. I'm not talking about the by-product of it. I'm talking about the root cause. Government stealing billions of dollars, where that money could have helped the people of South Africa during the pandemic. Now we facing two, one which is an upgrade of Covid-19 which is Delta, and a peeking unemployment rate we’ve ever seen.

I took matters into my own hands by employing myself. There are critical months where I don't get clients at all, and I have to call home and make a loan to cover rent and food. I'm fortunate for that. some people don't have anyone to call for help. Now, do you understand why the poor and helpless loot? people are angry, and they've been for years. The racial inequality, economic exclusion, and some racist motherfuckers at bay, waiting to kill. Everyone is waiting for an excuse to do damage, hurt, or kill. And all I wanted to do was make clothes with my friends and have fun.
